Scott Olsen, CEO

As Chief Executive Officer, Scott oversees the entire day-to-day operation of ReferralExchange. Previously, Scott worked at several firms in equity research, investment banking and venture capital. Scott has a B.S. in Business Administration from UC Berkeley, and an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago. He is an avid outdoorsman and sailor.

Ali Hamed, Founder

As founder, Ali helps lead the strategic development of the company. Previously, Ali designed and developed integrated computer systems for both commercial and government clients. Ali has a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from UC Davis, and enjoys running, photography, and weekends at the batting cages.

Daniel Yarlett, Technology

As Chief Technology Officer, Daniel spearheads engineering, research and analytics efforts for ReferralExchange, including online marketing strategy. His areas of expertise include machine learning, data mining, data visualization, and information management, with a general emphasis on robust Bayesian methods. Daniel holds a Ph.D. in Cognitive Psychology from Stanford University, where his research focused on statistical aspects of language acquisition; an M.Sc. in Artificial Intelligence from Edinburgh University; and a B.A. in Philosophy from Cambridge University.

Myron Lo, Strategy

As Chief Strategy Officer, Myron oversees all Business Development and Strategy for the company. Previously, he was responsible for product and marketing innovation at ZipRealty, at the time, the nation’s largest internet-based real estate brokerage. Myron started his career in consulting at Andersen Consulting. He received a B.S. in Managerial Economics from UC Davis and an M.B.A. from the University of Southern California. Myron enjoys spending time with his family—including his two sons.

Tom Monaghan, Sales and Operations

Tom’s role as VP of Sales and Operations has him overseeing all of the servicing and recruiting efforts for ReferralExchange. Previously, he worked for Bella Pictures and ING Direct. He specializes in team building and process development, with a focus on providing a high level of service. He has a B.A. in English from the University of Delaware and, when not working, spends his time traveling, reading, and practicing archery.

Sharon Powers de Vries, Operations

As Vice President of Operations, Sharon leads the Servicing and Operational efforts at ReferralExchange. Her previous experiences include Consultancy for AT&T, HR management and Sales for the Dutch national telecom company (KPN), and her own wine business. Sharon has a Master’s in Social Sciences and loves spending time with her husband, two children and Ben the cat. She is passionate about traveling, reading, wine and horses.

Robert Kassees, Product

As VP of Product, Rob oversees all Product Management for the company. Previously, Rob worked in the biotech research industry for companies like Roche and Genentech. He has a BA in Biology from the University of Delaware and an MBA from Duke University. Rob is also a lifelong musician who loves to travel every chance he gets.

Max Kuhl, Title Operations

As VP of Title Operations, Max oversees all of ReferralExchange's Title relationships. Previously, as the Director of Strategic Operations, he led initiatives at ReferralExchange to build and scale operational process improvements, as well as spearheaded multiple partner integrations. Max has a B.A. in Liberal Arts from St. John's College, Santa Fe and spends his free time cooking, traveling and writing.
